Bacteriostatic Water 0.9% (Benzyl Alcohol) is a Purified USP Water formulation containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, specifically designed for use in laboratory research settings for the dilution and reconstitution of peptides, research chemicals, and other investigational substances. Benzyl alcohol inhibits microbial growth, allowing multiple withdrawals from the vial under proper aseptic conditions.
